Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups uncooked penne or rotini pasta
  • 8 oz sliced pepperoni
  • 24 oz pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper. Brown the meat until fully cooked, then drain excess grease.
  2. Spread 1/4 of the pizza sauce at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Create the first layer by adding half of the browned beef, half of the uncooked pasta, and a handful of pepperoni.
  4. Pour 1/3 of the remaining sauce over the layer and top with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layering process with the remaining beef, pasta, and pepperoni.
  6. Top the casserole with the remaining pizza sauce, the rest of the mozzarella, and the Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover and cook on Low for 3-4 hours or High for 2 hours, until the pasta is tender and the cheese is bubbly.
