Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (or your preferred chicken parts)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- .75 oz packet of dry onion soup mix
- Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions:
- - Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels.
- - Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- - In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup with the dry onion soup mix. Stir until well blended.
- - Place seasoned chicken in the slow cooker.
- - Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the top of the chicken.
- - Cover and cook on low for about 4 to 6 hours, or until chicken is tender and cooked through.
- - Once done cooking, remove from heat. Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes to soak up all that delicious sauce.
- - Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives before serving if desired.
