Ingredients:

  • 1 oz (30 ml) Light Rum (such as Bacardi or Havana Club)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Dark Rum (such as Myers's or Gosling's)
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Banana Liqueur (such as Giffard or DeKuyper)
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Blackberry Liqueur (such as Chambord or DeKuyper Crème de Mûre)
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Pineapple Juice
  • 2 oz (60 ml) Orange Juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) Grenadine
  • Optional: Splash of Lime Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Garnish: Orange slice, Cherry, Pineapple wedge, or back scratcher umbrella

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients (rums, liqueurs, juices, and grenadine) to a blender.
  2. If using a blender, add a handful of ice and blend until smooth. If using a shaker, add ice to a cocktail shaker, pour in ingredients, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a hurricane glass or tall glass filled with ice.
  4. Garnish with an orange slice, cherry, pineapple wedge, and/or a cocktail umbrella for a touch of tiki flair.
  5. Optional: Add a quick squeeze of fresh lime juice at the very end to taste. Enjoy your rum runner!
