Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 medium ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or any kid-friendly yogurt)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (adjust based on fruit sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 10 low-calorie gummy worms (or your favorite worm-shaped candies)
  • 1/3 cup water (for blending, if needed)
  • Popsicle sticks (8) and 8 popsicle molds

Instructions:

  1. Pre-Prep & Equipment Check: Gather all ingredients and equipment. Ensure popsicle molds are clean and have space for layering. Use popsicle-makers if needed.
  2. Prepare Fruit Purees: For Layer A, blend strawberries with 1/6 cup water and 1 tablespoon honey. For Layer B, blend banana and kiwi with 1/6 cup water. Optionally, stir or blend blueberries with Greek yogurt and lime juice.
  3. Assembling the Pops: Pour 2-3 tablespoons of the strawberry puree into each mold and add 1 or 2 gummy worms per mold. Freeze for about 30 minutes to remove air bubbles.
  4. Second Layer: Remove molds from the freezer and add 2-3 tablespoons of the banana-kiwi puree on top of the first layer. Insert a gummy worm into each mold and freeze for another 30 minutes.
  5. Top Layer: Top each mold with 2-3 tablespoons of the yogurt-blueberry mix. Nestle any remaining gummy worms on top and insert popsicle sticks if required.
  6. Final Freeze: Place the assembled molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until solid. Run warm water on the outside of the mold to ease removal of the pops.
