Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/4 cup taco seasoning
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions:
- Add the raw ground beef to the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning evenly over the meat and pour in the salsa, lime juice, and beef broth.
- Stir gently to ensure the meat is coated, but do not overwork it.
- Set the slow cooker to Low for 4 hours or High for 2 hours.
- Open the lid and use a wooden spoon to break up any large chunks of beef until the mixture is uniform.
- If there is excess liquid, leave the lid off for the final 30 minutes of cooking to allow the sauce to thicken into a glossy glaze.
