Ingredients:
- 1 (16 oz) package frozen pierogies (potato and cheese or your favorite variety)
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced into rounds
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of your choice)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (optional; can substitute with homemade)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter.
- Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
- Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, approximately another 3–4 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, cream of mushroom soup (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
