Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs, ½ cup of grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  4. Place the flour in a third shallow dish for dredging.
  5. Coat each chicken breast evenly in the flour mixture.
  6. Dip each floured chicken breast into the egg mixture until fully coated.
  7. Press each piece of chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring it is well-covered on all sides.
  8. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add the coated chicken and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
