  • 1-2 jalapeño peppers (to taste, seeds removed for less heat)
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves (about 15 grams, finely chopped)
  • Juice of 1 lime (approximately 2 tablespoons or 30 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Wash tomatoes and jalapeño peppers thoroughly. Dice tomatoes, onion, and jalapeños into small, uniform pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, onion, and jalapeños.
  3. Stir in chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to the mixing bowl.
  4. Taste the salsa and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more lime juice or salt to enhance flavors.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
