Ingredients:

  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed (about 300g/10.5 ounces)
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (25g/0.9 ounces)
  • 1 (3.4 ounce/96g) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk (710ml/24 fluid ounces)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (227g/8 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g/3.5 ounces)
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed (227g/8 ounces)
  • 1 bag gummy worms (approximately 10-12 ounces / 283-340g)
  • Optional: Gummy flowers, plastic shovels, or other decorative elements

Instructions:

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Add sugar if desired.
  2. Whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk in a bowl until thickened.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gently fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the Cream Cheese mixture.
  6. Spread 1/3 of the crushed Oreos on the bottom of the dish.
  7. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the Oreos.
  8. Sprinkle another 1/3 of the crushed Oreos.
  9. Spread the remaining pudding mixture.
  10. Top with the remaining crushed Oreos.
  11. Arrange gummy worms and other decorations on top of the dirt cake.
  12. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
