Ingredients:

  • 4 oz (115 g) white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk or dairy-free alternative
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 oz/60 ml) or 1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew your espresso or strong coffee. Set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine chopped white chocolate and milk. Stir continuously until chocolate melts completely and mixture is smooth.
  3. Once the white chocolate is melted, add vanilla extract (if using) to the mixture. Pour in the brewed espresso or coffee and stir well until combined.
  4. If desired, froth additional milk using a whisk or milk frother. Gently fold the frothed milk into the white chocolate espresso mixture.
  5. Pour the latte mixture into serving mugs. Top with whipped cream (if desired) and garnish with chocolate shavings or dusting of cocoa powder.
