Ingredients:
- 4 oz (115 g) white chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk or dairy-free alternative
- 2 shots espresso (about 2 oz/60 ml) or 1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Brew your espresso or strong coffee. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine chopped white chocolate and milk. Stir continuously until chocolate melts completely and mixture is smooth.
- Once the white chocolate is melted, add vanilla extract (if using) to the mixture. Pour in the brewed espresso or coffee and stir well until combined.
- If desired, froth additional milk using a whisk or milk frother. Gently fold the frothed milk into the white chocolate espresso mixture.
- Pour the latte mixture into serving mugs. Top with whipped cream (if desired) and garnish with chocolate shavings or dusting of cocoa powder.
