Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (227g) vegan cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces (113g) vegan cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dry white wine OR 1 tablespoon lemon juice + ½ teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Chop the chives, parsley, and thyme finely. Mince the garlic.
  2. In a food processor (or mixing bowl), combine the softened vegan cream cheese, shredded vegan cheddar, chopped herbs, minced garlic, white wine (or lemon juice mixture), Dijon mustard, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Process (or mix vigorously) until smooth and well combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Taste the spread and add salt to taste. Adjust other seasonings as needed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature with your favorite dippers.
