Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar (For Syrup)
  • 1 cup Water (For Syrup)
  • 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract (For Syrup)
  • 2 ounces Vanilla Vodka (Per cocktail)
  • 1 ounce Fresh Cranberry Juice (Per cocktail)
  • ¾ ounce Fresh Lemon Juice (Per cocktail)
  • ½ to ¾ ounce Vanilla Simple Syrup (Per cocktail, adjust to taste)
  • 1 large Egg White (Optional, for foam)
  • Orange wheel or peel (For garnish)
  • 3-4 Fresh Cranberries (For garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Vanilla Simple Syrup: Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat gently until sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract. Cool completely before use.
  2. Chill glasses: Place desired serving glasses in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Combine Ingredients (Dry Shake - If using egg white): Add vodka, cranberry juice, lemon juice, and vanilla syrup to the shaker. If using egg white, add it now before ice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 20 seconds without ice.
  4. Wet Shake: Open the shaker, fill two-thirds full with quality ice. Reseal and shake hard and fast until the shaker is frosty cold (about 15–20 seconds).
  5. Strain and Serve: Double strain the mixture (using both the shaker’s strainer and a fine-mesh sieve) into the chilled glass.
  6. Garnish: Carefully place a few fresh cranberries into the drink and express the oils from the orange peel over the top before setting it on the rim.
