Ingredients:
- 1 large Russet Potato (10-12 oz / 280-340g), scrubbed clean
- 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil (15-30 ml)
- 1-2 teaspoons Kosher Salt (5-10g)
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Scrub potatoes thoroughly and pat dry. Prick each potato several times with a fork.
- Rub each potato with olive oil, ensuring the entire surface is coated. Sprinkle generously with kosher salt and black pepper.
- Place potatoes directly on the baking sheet. Bake for 60-90 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces the center.
- Carefully remove the potatoes from the oven. Use oven mitts to handle the hot potatoes. Cut open each potato lengthwise. Fluff the inside with a fork.
- Top with your favorite fillings and serve immediately.
