Ingredients:
- 1 English muffin, split
- 1 large egg
- 2 slices bacon or 1 sausage patty, pre-cooked
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp butter, softened
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Optional: A splash of milk or cream (for scrambled egg version)
Instructions:
- Prep the Egg: Choose your egg style. Fry it directly in the air fryer ramekin OR Scramble the egg with optional splash of milk/cream, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the Egg (if using ramekin): Place ramekin (if using) into the air fryer basket and cook until set. (Or cook the scrambled egg directly in the air fryer)
- Toast the Muffin: Butter the cut sides of the English muffin halves. Place butter-side-up in the air fryer for a few minutes until lightly toasted.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Place cheese on one muffin half. Add cooked bacon/sausage. Top with cooked egg.
- Air Fry to Melt Cheese: Place the assembled sandwich (open-faced, with the cheese and toppings on one side) back in the air fryer until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Combine and Serve: Carefully remove the sandwich from the air fryer. Top with the other muffin half and serve immediately.
