Ingredients:
- 4 medium green apples, chopped (about 500g)
- 1 cup (150g) halved red grapes
- 1 cup (150g) mini marshmallows
- 1 cup (120g) chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 cup (240ml) whipped topping or Cool Whip
- 1/2 cup (120ml) caramel sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Additional caramel sauce for garnishing
- Extra chopped nuts for garnishing
Instructions:
- Wash and chop the green apples into bite-sized pieces. Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In a medium bowl, combine chopped apples, halved grapes, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
- In a separate bowl, lightly fold the whipped topping into the fruit and nut mixture until well-coated.
- Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for flavors to meld.
- Drizzle with extra caramel and sprinkle with additional nuts if desired before serving.
