Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce (30ml)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15ml)
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar (5ml)
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (5ml)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (5ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (2.5 ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (1 ml) (optional)
- 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds
- Chopped green onions
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pat salmon fillets dry. Place on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush salmon fillets generously with the sweet chili glaze. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until cooked through. The glaze should be sticky and caramelized.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately the Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon.
