- 8 ounces (227g) sour cream
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions:
- Place the softened cream cheese in the mixing bowl.
- Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer (or whisk vigorously) until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the sour cream and sugar to the cream cheese.
- Continue beating (or whisking) until well combined and smooth. Ensure no lumps remain.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest (if using).
- For best results, cover the dip and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with your favorite fresh fruit.
