Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (227g) sour cream
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions:

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in the mixing bowl.
  2. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer (or whisk vigorously) until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add the sour cream and sugar to the cream cheese.
  4. Continue beating (or whisking) until well combined and smooth. Ensure no lumps remain.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest (if using).
  6. For best results, cover the dip and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled with your favorite fresh fruit.
