Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced (about 2 cups or 300g)
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup or 75g)
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced (about 1/2 cup or 75g)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (about 10g)
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons or 30ml)
  • Salt to taste (about 1/2 teaspoon or 3g)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Peel and dice the mangoes, finely chop the red onion and red bell pepper, seed and mince the jalapeño, and chop the fresh cilantro.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the diced mangoes, red onion, jalapeño, red bell pepper, and cilantro.
  3. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and add salt to taste.
  4. Gently fold the ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Transfer the salsa to a serving dish and enjoy immediately or chill briefly for enhanced flavors.
