Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes, diced (about 2 cups or 300g)
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup or 75g)
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced (about 1/2 cup or 75g)
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (about 10g)
- Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tablespoons or 30ml)
- Salt to taste (about 1/2 teaspoon or 3g)
Instructions:
- Prepare the ingredients: Peel and dice the mangoes, finely chop the red onion and red bell pepper, seed and mince the jalapeño, and chop the fresh cilantro.
- In a mixing bowl, add the diced mangoes, red onion, jalapeño, red bell pepper, and cilantro.
- Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and add salt to taste.
- Gently fold the ingredients together until well combined.
- Transfer the salsa to a serving dish and enjoy immediately or chill briefly for enhanced flavors.
