Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds ground lamb
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the lamb mixture and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- In a separate bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, dill, mint, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Plate the cooked lamb and drizzle with herbed yogurt sauce. Garnish with additional herbs if desired.
