Ingredients:
- 1 medium head of green cabbage, thinly sliced (about 1 pound/450 grams)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30 ml)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 bell pepper (any color), sliced
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (15 ml)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Thinly slice the cabbage, bell pepper, and green onions. Mince garlic and grate ginger.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in sliced cabbage and bell pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until cabbage is tender yet still crisp.
- Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar. Stir well to combine, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Plate the stir-fry and enjoy immediately.
