Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and ensure the oven rack is in the center position for even heat distribution.
  2. Place the frozen lasagna on a rimmed baking sheet to catch drips and prevent smoke.
  3. Cover the tray tightly with aluminum foil, spraying the underside of the foil with non-stick spray to prevent cheese from sticking.
  4. Bake covered for 45–60 minutes to thaw the interior and heat the meat layers via conduction.
  5. Carefully remove the aluminum foil to reveal the bubbling surface.
  6. Return the lasagna to the oven uncovered for an additional 15–20 minutes until the cheese transitions to a mahogany-colored gold.
  7. Insert an instant-read meat thermometer into the center; remove from heat only when it reads exactly 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let the lasagna sit undisturbed for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
