Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 packet (2¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
  • 1¾ cups (420ml) warm water (about 110°F/43°C)
  • 4 tablespoons (60ml) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt and cracked pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add warm water, olive oil, sugar, and salt into the bread machine.
  2. Pour the flour evenly over the wet ingredients. Sprinkle the yeast on top of the flour (do not stir).
  3. Close the bread machine lid and select the 'Dough' setting. Start the machine.
  4. In a small bowl, mix dried herbs, garlic powder, sea salt, and cracked pepper.
  5. Once the dough cycle is complete, transfer the dough to a floured surface. Gently deflate the dough and shape it into a rectangle.
  6. Place dough on the baking sheet lined with parchment; press with fingers to create dimples throughout the surface.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the herb mixture over the top.
  8. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve.
