Ingredients:

  • 24 mini pretzels (preferably Snyder
  • s or similar thick pretzels)
  • 24 Rolo candies (about 9 oz or 255 g)
  • Sea salt (for sprinkling)
  • ½ cup (90 g) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 cup (175 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional for drizzling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Place the mini pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Unwrap Rolo candies and place one on top of each pretzel.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes until the Rolo candies are soft but not completely melted.
  5. Remove from the oven and gently press down on each softened Rolo to flatten it slightly.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each and add chopped pecans if desired. Allow to cool or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. If using, melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth and drizzle over the cooled pretzels.
