Ingredients:
- 24 mini pretzels (preferably Snyder
- s or similar thick pretzels)
- 24 Rolo candies (about 9 oz or 255 g)
- Sea salt (for sprinkling)
- ½ cup (90 g) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1 cup (175 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional for drizzling)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Place the mini pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Unwrap Rolo candies and place one on top of each pretzel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes until the Rolo candies are soft but not completely melted.
- Remove from the oven and gently press down on each softened Rolo to flatten it slightly.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each and add chopped pecans if desired. Allow to cool or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- If using, melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth and drizzle over the cooled pretzels.
