Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) Rolled Oats
- 1 tablespoon (7g) Chia Seeds
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Milk
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Greek Yogurt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Maple Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)
- Pinch of Salt
- Fresh berries (optional)
- Sliced banana (optional)
- Chopped nuts (optional)
- Seeds (optional)
- Shredded coconut (optional)
- Chocolate chips (optional)
- A dollop of jam (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, milk, Greek yogurt (if using), maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Stir everything together until well combined. Make sure there are no clumps of chia seeds lurking!
- Seal the container tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. These Overnight Oats with Chia Seeds needs time in the fridge.
- Before serving, give the oats another good stir. They will have thickened considerably.
