- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup (60g) yogurt (Greek or regular, dairy or non-dairy - optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) chia seeds (optional)
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) honey or maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Fresh fruit (berries, banana slices, chopped apple, etc.)
- Nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc.)
- Seeds (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, etc.)
- Dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, chopped dates, etc.)
- Nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, etc.)
- Chocolate chips
- Spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger)
Instructions:
- In your jar or container, add the rolled oats, milk, yogurt (if using), chia seeds (if using), sweetener, and salt.
- Stir thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are combined and the oats are evenly moistened.
- Cover the jar tightly with a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
- In the morning, give the oats a stir. If they seem too thick, add a splash of milk. Top with your desired toppings and enjoy!
