Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz / 170g each)
- 1/2 cup (approximately 120ml) prepared pesto
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease the baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Spoon some pesto in a small bowl to make it easier to apply onto chicken.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Evenly spread the pesto over the top of each chicken breast, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) using a meat thermometer.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute.
