Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz / 170g each)
  • 1/2 cup (approximately 120ml) prepared pesto

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease the baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  3. Spoon some pesto in a small bowl to make it easier to apply onto chicken.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Evenly spread the pesto over the top of each chicken breast, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) using a meat thermometer.
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This helps the juices redistribute.
