  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • br2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • br1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • br1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, season the chicken thighs or breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to ensure all pieces are evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low. Combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sriracha in the pan. Stir well while cooking for about 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  4. Return cooked chicken to the skillet with sauce. Toss to coat each piece thoroughly in the sweet and spicy mixture. Cook for an additional minute until everything is heated through.
  5. Transfer chicken to serving plates; drizzle leftover sauce over top if desired.
  6. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over each serving before enjoying!
