Ingredients:
- 4 cups cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup buttery crackers, crushed
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- ½ cup butter, melted
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Fold in the cooked chicken until well coated.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the crushed crackers, poppy seeds, and melted butter until combined.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the top of the chicken mixture. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown. Check for internal temperature of 165°F.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
