Ingredients:
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons fine sea salt
- 1.5 cups whole milk
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- In a very large bowl, sift the all-purpose flour to remove clumps. Add the granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and fine sea salt.
- Whisk the dry ingredients for at least 60 seconds to ensure even distribution of the leavening agents. Transfer to an airtight container for storage.
- To prepare a batch, scoop 2 cups of the dry mix into a mixing bowl.
- In a separate jug, whisk together the whole milk, melted unsalted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and whisk until just combined; do not overmix, as small lumps are acceptable for a fluffy texture.
- Heat a non-stick griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until the other side is golden brown.
