Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60 ml) Tequila Blanco (Silver)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Cointreau (or Triple Sec)
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) Agave Nectar (or simple syrup)
  • Lime wedge
  • Coarse Salt (Kosher or sea salt)

Instructions:

  1. Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. On a small plate, spread out some coarse salt. Gently roll the rim of the glass in the salt until evenly coated.
  2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine tequila, Cointreau (or Triple Sec), fresh lime juice, and agave nectar (or simple syrup).
  3. Close the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
  4. Strain the margarita into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge. Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly!
