Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Gently melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat or in a microwave-safe bowl in short intervals, being careful not to burn it.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant (but not browned!).
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the parsley, chives, rosemary, thyme, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Whisk (or stir vigorously with a fork) all ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes to your liking.
  6. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for later use. Bring to room temperature before serving for the best texture.
