Ingredients:
- 1 cup (115g) coarsely ground coffee
- 6 cups (1420ml) cold, filtered water
- Optional: Sweetener of choice to taste
Instructions:
- In the pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold water. Stir gently to ensure all the grounds are saturated.
- Cover the pitcher and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours.
- After steeping, strain the coffee concentrate using cheesecloth, a nut milk bag, a fine-mesh sieve, or a French Press, discarding the grounds.
- Dilute the strained coffee concentrate with water to your desired strength (start with a 1:1 ratio and adjust from there).
- If desired, add sweetener to taste.
- Ensure the coffee is thoroughly chilled before serving.
- Pour over ice and enjoy your iced coffee by the pitcher!
