Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (115g) coarsely ground coffee
  • 6 cups (1420ml) cold, filtered water
  • Optional: Sweetener of choice to taste

Instructions:

  1. In the pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold water. Stir gently to ensure all the grounds are saturated.
  2. Cover the pitcher and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours.
  3. After steeping, strain the coffee concentrate using cheesecloth, a nut milk bag, a fine-mesh sieve, or a French Press, discarding the grounds.
  4. Dilute the strained coffee concentrate with water to your desired strength (start with a 1:1 ratio and adjust from there).
  5. If desired, add sweetener to taste.
  6. Ensure the coffee is thoroughly chilled before serving.
  7. Pour over ice and enjoy your iced coffee by the pitcher!
