Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (225g)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (120ml)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (60ml)
  • 1/4 cup grated yellow onion (approximately 1/4 small onion)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 ounces lump crab meat, picked over for shells (225g)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided (115g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in grated onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic powder.
  4. Gently fold in the crab meat and 3/4 cup of the cheddar cheese, being careful not to break up the crab too much.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through, bubbly, and the cheese is melted and lightly golden brown.
  8. Let stand for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dippers.
