- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (225g)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (120ml)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (60ml)
- 1/4 cup grated yellow onion (approximately 1/4 small onion)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 8 ounces lump crab meat, picked over for shells (225g)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided (115g)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth.
- Stir in grated onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Gently fold in the crab meat and 3/4 cup of the cheddar cheese, being careful not to break up the crab too much.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through, bubbly, and the cheese is melted and lightly golden brown.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dippers.
