- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
- ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions:
- Let the unsalted butter sit at room temperature until it is soft.
- Peel and mince the garlic cloves, using a garlic press if desired.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Optional: Add lemon juice for an extra zing.
- Use a spatula to thoroughly mix all ingredients until well combined and smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to an airtight container or roll it in parchment paper to form a log. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
