Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 lb extra-lean deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz reduced-fat Swiss cheese slices
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp dried minced onions
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Use a serrated knife to slice the entire slab of rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer the extra-lean ham evenly across the bottom bread half, then top with an overlapping layer of Swiss cheese. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onions, garlic powder, and poppy seeds to create the glaze.
  4. Pour the glaze over the rolls, using a pastry brush to ensure even coverage across the tops and into the crevices.
  5. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes to melt the cheese.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the tops are crispy and golden-brown.
