Ingredients:

  • 4 ears of fresh corn, husks removed
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pat the corn dry with a paper towel to ensure a better sear.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cracked black pepper.
  3. Using a silicone basting brush, lightly coat each ear of corn with the oil and seasoning mixture.
  4. Preheat your grill to high heat (approximately 400°F / 200°C).
  5. Place the corn directly on the grates and grill for 10–12 minutes, turning every 2–3 minutes until the kernels are bright, opaque yellow with scattered mahogany-colored charred spots.
  6. Remove the corn from the grill and serve immediately.
