Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) if preparing puff pastry dippers. Roll out pastry, brush lightly with melted butter, sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, cut into strips, and bake until golden brown (about 10-12 minutes). Set aside. If using pre-made dippers, skip this step.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the brown sugar and melted butter to the cream cheese mixture; beat until just combined.
- Whisk in the corn syrup, lightly beaten eggs, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.
- Gently fold in the majority of the chopped pecans, reserving a handful for the top.
- Pour the Pecan Pie Dip mixture into a lightly greased 9-inch oven-safe skillet or 8x8 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the reserved pecans over the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are set and slightly puffed, and the center has only a very slight wobble.
- Let the dip rest for 5 minutes after removing it from the oven. Serve immediately while warm alongside your cinnamon sugar dippers, apple slices, or cookies.
