Ingredients:
- 1 pound (454g) ground chicken
- 1 cup (100g) Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for garnish
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup (15g) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup (60ml) milk
- ½ cup (120ml) marinara sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and milk.
- Gently mix the ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Form the mixture into 4-6 oval-shaped meatloaves. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon marinara sauce over each meatloaf, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Check doneness using a meat thermometer inserted into the center of a meatloaf.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and parsley (optional).
