Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) Spaghetti
- 4 tbsp (57g) Unsalted Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Dry White Wine (optional)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Reserved Pasta Water
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup (25g) Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- If using white wine, pour into the skillet and simmer for 1 minute, scraping up browned bits.
- Add cooked pasta to skillet with garlic butter (and wine, if used). Toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese. Toss until creamy.
- Stir in fresh parsley. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and red pepper flakes, if desired.
