Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz / 170g each)
  • 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and minced garlic.
  4. Place chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Pour garlic butter evenly over the chicken.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste with pan juices halfway through baking (optional but recommended).
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges (if desired).
