Ingredients:

  • 5 tablespoons (70g) unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing the pan
  • 10 ounces (283g) large marshmallows
  • 6 cups (170g) Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup (80g) Funfetti sprinkles, plus extra for topping
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat (or in a microwave-safe bowl), melt the butter.
  3. Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir constantly until completely melted. If microwaving, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat.
  6. Immediately add the Rice Krispies cereal and sprinkles to the melted marshmallow mixture. Gently fold until the cereal is evenly coated.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and gently press down evenly with a spatula or buttered hands.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining sprinkles over the top.
  9. Let the treats cool and set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
  10. Cut into 16 squares and serve these Funfetti Rice Krispies Treats.
