- 100g red or green grapes
- 80g Honeycrisp or Fuji apple
- 50g fresh blueberries or raspberries
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 50g sharp cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 28g string cheese stick
- 30g whole grain crackers or mini pretzels
- 15g sunflower seeds or almonds
Instructions:
- Wash all produce thoroughly. In a small bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice to prevent oxidation and browning.
- Place the grapes and berries into the largest compartment of the bento box. Ensure they are packed tightly so they don't shake around and bruise.
- Arrange the cheddar cubes and string cheese coins in the second compartment.
- Shingle the lemon coated apple slices next to the cheese.
- Place the whole grain crackers or pretzels in the smallest, driest compartment.
- Sprinkle the sunflower seeds or almonds over the cheese.
