Ingredients:
- 1 cup Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice (200g)
- 1½ cups water (360 ml)
- ½ teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions:
- In a fine mesh strainer, rinse the Thai Hom Mali Jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt (if using). Stir briefly to combine.
- Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a lid, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Then, using a fork, fluff the rice to separate the grains.
