Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice (200g)
  • 1½ cups water (360 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a fine mesh strainer, rinse the Thai Hom Mali Jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt (if using). Stir briefly to combine.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan with a lid, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Then, using a fork, fluff the rice to separate the grains.
