Ingredients:

  • 1 cup jasmine rice (205g)
  • 1 cup water (240ml)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the rice by placing jasmine rice in a fine-mesh strainer and rinsing under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
  2. In the Instant Pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt (if using).
  3. Close the lid securely and set the steam release valve to Sealing.
  4. Select the Pressure Cook or Manual setting and cook for 4 minutes on high pressure.
  5. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes
  6. Open the lid, fluff the rice gently with a fork, and serve warm.
