Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 ounce/30g) packet dry Ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (or olive oil) (120ml)
  • 1 package (16 ounces/450g) saltine crackers (or similar rectangular crackers)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the Ranch dressing mix, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, dill weed, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Add the saltine crackers to the bowl with the oil mixture. Gently toss to ensure each cracker is evenly coated.
  4. Lay the coated crackers in a single layer on a baking sheet. Use parchment paper for easy clean-up, if desired.
  5. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crackers are lightly golden and fragrant. Watch them closely as they can burn easily.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet. They will crisp up as they cool. Store in an airtight container.
