Ingredients:
- 1.5 - 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs (680g - 907g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
- 2 tablespoons Everything Bagel seasoning (30 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5ml), or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (120 ml)
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened (30g) (Optional)
Instructions:
- Trim any excess fat from the chicken thighs. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, Everything Bagel seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the Everything Bagel mixture all over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
- Pour the chicken broth around the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. The chicken should be cooked through, and easily shreddable with a fork. (Internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- (Optional) If using cream cheese, shred the chicken with two forks, then stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot!
