Ingredients:

  • 1 oz (30ml) Light Rum (e.g., Bacardi Superior)
  • 1 oz (30ml) Vodka (optional, use a neutral one!)
  • 1 oz (30ml) Blue Curaçao Liqueur
  • 3 oz (90ml) Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz (30ml) Cream of Coconut (e.g., Coco Lopez)
  • Pineapple wedge, for garnish
  • Maraschino cherry, for garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Place your highball or hurricane glass in the freezer or fill it with ice while you prepare the drink.
  2. Add the rum, vodka (if using), blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
  4. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until well-chilled.
  5. Remove the ice from your chilled glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
  6. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry (if desired).
