Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6-8 ounces/170-225g each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (5ml)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (5ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2.5ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (2.5ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5ml), or to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle chicken breasts with olive oil, then rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides.
  5. Place chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Check for doneness using a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast.
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
