Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5ml) celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5ml) salt, or to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.75ml) black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
  2. Whisk all ingredients together until smooth and well combined.
  3. Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more sugar for sweetness, vinegar for tanginess, salt, or pepper to your liking.
  4. For best flavor, cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
  5. Pour over shredded cabbage and carrots (or your favorite coleslaw mix) and toss to coat evenly.
