Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.5ml) celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.5ml) salt, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon (0.75ml) black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk all ingredients together until smooth and well combined.
- Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more sugar for sweetness, vinegar for tanginess, salt, or pepper to your liking.
- For best flavor, cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
- Pour over shredded cabbage and carrots (or your favorite coleslaw mix) and toss to coat evenly.
