Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour in melted butter and milk; stir until just combined (do not overmix).
- Pour the topping evenly over the peach filling in the baking dish. Optional: Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for added flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cobbler to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
