Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour in melted butter and milk; stir until just combined (do not overmix).
  4. Pour the topping evenly over the peach filling in the baking dish. Optional: Sprinkle a little extra cinnamon on top for added flavor.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cobbler to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
